ABOUT THE TEAM

The APXS team is an internationally based group of geology, physics, and instrumentation heroes headed by the Principal Investigator, Ralf Gellert at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. APXS operations are led by Nick Boyd also at the University of Guelph, with the operations team split between there and the University of New Brunswick. The instrument was built by MDA Space Missions, Inc. in Brampton, Ontario. Development and ongoing operations are funded and supported by the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

Dr. Gellert is assisted in his scientific responsibilities by Co-Investigators from several institutions, including:

APXS DATA ON THE PDS

For scientists interested in studying or analyzing APXS data, they are publicly released on a rolling schedule approximately every three months to the Planetary Data System.
